Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

It was only a matter of time: Chevrolet has announced that the  supercharged Camaro ZL1 will soon spawn a convertible version.

Although the 2013 camaro ZL1 Convertible won’t make its official debut until next month’s Los Angeles Auto show, GM has released some early details on the high-performance drop-top ahead of schedule. As can be expected, the coupe retains most of the same mechanical bits as its hardtop sibling, including the supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V-8, which cranks out a glorious 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque. Finalized performance figures have yet to be announced, but GM says to expect near-identical performance metrics to the ZL1 Coupe.

An interesting comparison, perhaps, but the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang Convertible is perhaps a more direct competitor. As it stands, the Camaro ZL1 outmuscles that car by 30 hp and 46 lb-ft, although we hear Ford may already be readying a more powerful GT500 for the 2012 or 2013 model year.

Pricing on the 2013 Camaro ZL1 Convertible hasn’t yet been announced, but finalized figures should be announced shortly, as GM expects the car to hit showrooms by the end of the year.

The new 2013 Ford Focus ST is coming to a dealer near you before the end of the year, and if you skip the options, you can roll off the showroom floor for $24,495 including the destination charge. FOCUS ST EQUIPPED WITH 252-HP ECOBOOST ENGINE

What that modest sum of cash buys is a five-door Focus equipped with more than just “ST” badges. Aturbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder is installed under the hood, generating 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque, and breathing through ST-specific dual exhaust outlets. 

The turbocharged engine is paired only with a six-speed manual gearbox, so if you can’t operate a clutch pedal, you’re out of luck.

 Additional hardware upgrades include sport suspension tuning, variable ratio electric steering withtorque steer compensation, a driver-selected three-mode stability control system, andunique 18-inch aluminum wheels equipped with summer performance tires. On the other hand, with technology of 7-speed dual-shift gearbox, the petrol variant is quite powerful and comes with capacity of 1400-cc i.e 1.4 Liters and 1600-cc i.e 1.6 Liters, that produces a horsepower of 75 i.e 55 kilo-Watt with 1.4 Liters and a horsepower of 122 with 1.6 Liters petrol engine of new 2013 Seat Toledo. The W Motors Lykan Hypersport is powered by a mid-mounted twin turbocharged flat six-cylinder engine producing an impressive 750 horsepower and has peak torque of 737 lb-ft. But even those with the highest budgets to appease their boy racer fantasies might need to scramble for the new LykanHypersport - as only seven of the cars are being created this year.

New Aston Martin "Vanquish"

As with all Aston Martins, the Vanquish isn’t for the Average Joe, at least in regards to affordability. It will have a starting price of £189,995 when it goes on sale in Europe (first launching in the UK) in late 2012. North American sales are expected to begin in early 2013 with prices starting around $280,000.

Other notable features are said to include the ventilated carbon ceramic disc brakes and a brand-new Launch Control system.
